Lóren Littlejohn
Lusive — Esrevn
Trumpeter · Flugelhornist · Composer · Producer
Lóren Littlejohn — known in Esrevn as Lusive — is a captivating Texas-born, D.C.-raised trumpeter, flugelhornist, and composer whose sound carries the influence of Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Arturo Sandoval, and the warm melodic flash of Blue Mitchell.
His musical journey began the way the best ones do — at home, inspired by his father, first learning drums and guitar at six, then cornet from his grandfather at ten.
After attending the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C. (2018–2021) and graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas (2021–2022) — where he served as principal trumpeter in classical Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Show Band — Lóren earned a full tuition scholarship to the University of Miami, where he graduated in May 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Media Scoring and Production. In September 2026, he will begin his Master's degree in Screen Scoring at New York University, where he has been awarded a merit scholarship.
Lóren has performed at the Silver Spring, Mid-Atlantic, Rehoboth Beach, Lake Arbor, D.C., and Monterey Jazz Festivals, served as a performing artist for the Kennedy Center Youth Council, and toured as part of the National Endowment for the Arts and Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz's 2022 National All-Star Peer-to-Peer Jazz Quintet alongside Bobby Watson. He was selected for the 2022 TMEA Texas All-State Jazz Ensemble, earned a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music's 2021 Summer Jazz Workshop, and performed with the Monterey Jazz Festival's 2021 Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. For two original compositions, he received 1st place in both The Links 2021 Young Masters Arts Competition and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and Ivy Foundation's 2021 Youth Arts Contest.
Beyond the trumpet, Lóren is a multi-instrumentalist — equally at home on flugelhorn, electric and acoustic guitar, piano, and electronic and virtual instruments — and an award-winning composer actively scoring music for film and television and composing original works for new media and artists across varied genres.
At the University of Miami's Frost School of Music — the same program that brought the Littlejohn brothers together — Lóren and his brother Læsio created 1423, Esrevn's debut EP: a genre-agnostic statement built from the full spectrum of their musical lives.
Lóren aspires to become one of the most sought-after composers, producers, and trumpet performers on the planet. On his terms.
